On Tree View, you can select samples by clicking a node of sample tree. On Scatter Plot (Samples) View, you can drag to select spots of samples. Those selected samples are indicated in Sample Info tab. But it's not feasible to make a Sample Group of them.
v1.18.4667 has "Import Status of Selection" function in Edit Parameters panel. You can add a column in the parameter table to mark "1" to all selected samples. It allows you to easily define sample groups with similar expression profiles in Setup DataSet tab.
